Corrección - Missinformation

El día 13 de junio compartí una noticia que llegó por correo y afirmaba que el joven atacado por la policía en Barcelona ha muerto. Me han informado de que esta información es falsa. En este caso me alegro q el compañero siga luchando...

A continuación incluyo el mensaje que recibí, para hacer un par de reflexiones a partir de él, en parte referentes a cómo voy a gestionar las entradas que a partir de ahora cuelgue y que no representen del todo mi propio sentir.

June 13th I shared the news that one person attacked by the police in Catalonia died. However, it turns out that he is still fighting for his life, I am happy for that, and hope that he can fight his way to recovery...

Beneath I will share the message I received, because I want to reflect upon a couple of things about it, and also about how I am going to deal from now on with those entries that I don't totally agree with.

One of the persons hit by the police in Catalonia dies. They busted his liver and lung

WE HAVE BEEN REPORTED FROM BARCELONA THAT ONE OF OUR COLLEAGUES DIED YESTERDAY BECAUSE OF THE SERIOUS INJURES CAUSED IN THE BRUTAL EVICTION OF THE CATALONIAN SQUARE: with the excuse of "having to clean", some terrosist members of the Catalonian policeforce (mossos de esquadra) attacked peaceful citizens.


The group "QUEDA LA PALABRA" wants to express their sympathy to family, friends and collegues. Also, their rage because of the murder commited in this fascist state, that caused the bursting of his liver and lung.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVICTION WAS MADE WITH BRUTAL PREMEDITATION.

WE DEMAND THE IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION OF THE INTERIOR CONSELLER OF CATALONIA "FELIP PUIG" AND THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR "Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba" FOR THEIR SUPPORT TO THIS WILD ATTACK AGAINST PEOPLE WHO WERE PROTESTING PEACEFULLY.

Y ahora llega la metarreflexión sobre el modo en el que estoy usando este blog:

Desde el principio, consideré este blog como un espacio en el que compartir las voces de otros, no consideraba necesario distanciarme de lo que decían o dejaban de decir, doy por supuesto que podemos estar de acuerdo sólo a medias con las cosas, y que cada cual puede, como lector/a, distinguir lo que le convences de lo que no le convence. Este comunicado que pegué, "flora y fauna" posiblemente advirtió, es bastante más radical de lo que yo lo soy, de modo que podría ser un buen punto de partida para empezar una discusión sobre si vivimos en un estado fascista o no.

Personalmente, más allá de la idea de estado totalitario, me pierden los "apellidos" políticos, ¿que caracteriza al fascismo? ¿Es peor que el comunismo? ¿Existe en el planeta un Estado que de verdad se interese por el bienestar de todos sus ciudadanos y no especialmente de los ricos? Son preguntas que me hago, y me gustaría escuchar vuestras respuestas si las tenéis, porque yo tengo más preguntas que respuestas habitualmente, y eso me ha hecho descubrir que hay gente que sabe mucho más que yo, y que es un placer aprender de lo que otros saben.

Como dije al principio, este es un espacio "altavoz", un espacio para que las voces de unos lleguen a otros, no necesariamente mi propia voz. De ahí que haya decidido añadir un poco de texto al principio, recordando esto.

From the beginning, I conceived this blog as a space in which to share the voices of others, so I saw no need to distance myself from what they said or did. I assumed people can agree only partially with things, and that each person, as a reader, can make up their own mind while reading. The statement above, is, as "flora and fauna" noticed, far more radical than my normal opinions, so it could be a good departure point to start a discussion about whether we live in a fascist state or not.

Personally, beyond the idea of a totalitarian state, I am lost with political "surnames". What characterizes fascism? Is it worse than communism? Is there a state on the planet who really cares about the welfare of all its citizens and especially not the rich? These are questions I ask myself, and I would like to hear your answers if you have them, because I have more questions than answers regularly. That personal trait has made me discover that there are people who know more than me, and that it is a pleasure to learn from what others know.

As said earlier, this is kind of a "loudspeaker" page, a space for the voices of different people and movements to reach to others, this voice doesn't need to be my own voice, but I've notices that it is not clear for people who haven't read all the entries, hence I have decided to add some text at the beginning, as a reminder of my attitude in sharing the news that reach me.
